Bits vs Qubits

A bit is like a light switch that is either On (1) or Off (0), while a qubit is like a spinning coin that can be both 1 and 0 at the same time (superposition). This allows qubits to explore many possibilities simultaneously rather than checking them one by one.

Once you "look" at a qubit, it stops spinning and settles into a definite 0 or 1, just like a regular bit.

This unique ability provides exponential processing power, enabling computers to solve massive, complex problems—like drug discovery or weather forecasting—thousands of years faster than today's strongest supercomputers.
